Aune Ainson
Aune Ainson, born in Estonia but currently living and creating in Chile, uses her academic background in Semiotics and Theory of Culture to infuse her photography and painting practice with a level of incisive and intentional depth. Ainson’s love and practice of theory is embedded in the conceptual frameworks of her paintings and photographs. The subjects are layered with meaning and messages that cannot be ascertained at a cursory glance, but if you spend more moments with them, you unravel great meaning.
