Robert Pollard, born in Dayton, Ohio, and the lead singer of Guided By Voices, is an individual who lives a life not easily distilled to one genre of being, much like the multifaceted and expansive nature of his artworks.. In addition to his illustrious career in music, Pollard has maintained an art practice that began as a child, creating collages for imaginary bands. Pollard created the catalog of collaged artworks that accompanied the releases from Guided By Voices.
